Lenny Gebele (37kg) was the PSV’s only judo fighter and represented us excellently at the 15th challenge cup tournament in Berlin. In his weight class he only had to fight with Berlin judoka. He was able to force his first opponent from the host Jc03 with a hook throw into the ground from which the Berliner could no longer free himself. In the second fight Lenny made short work of the Kaizen fighter with a hip throw after a few seconds. Lenny was also successful in the semifinals and was now in the final against Mehedko von Kladow, ShidoSha Berlin. This time the Berlin judoka won.
Great competitive performance, Lenny. Congratulations.
