SOLO, KOMPAS.TV – The former coach of Persipura Jayapura, Jacksen F. Tiago, gave a message to his son, Hugo Samir, who had just been banned from playing football for 12 months by the PSSI Disciplinary Commission (Komdis).

Hugo Samir was proven to have made a mistake while playing for Bhayangkara FC U18.

The 16-year-old player kicked the match kit and sparked a riot when his team played against Persebaya U18 at the Elite Pro Academy U18 2021 on October 28 last.

After receiving the news, Jackson, as Hugo’s parent, was devastated and immediately apologized to the match officials concerned.

Through his personal Instagram account, Jackson wrote a touching message for his son.

To my son, as I always tell you, our greatest enemy is ‘The Man Behind the Mirror’ (self). If we know how to control ourselves when we are under pressure, then we will become better individuals,” wrote Jackson.
