But what happened? The French international Diallo was taken into custody by the police on Wednesday morning. The reason: She is said to have ordered a brutal attack on her teammate Kheira Hamraoui (31). According to several French media outlets, on November 4, Hamraoui was pulled from the passenger seat of a car by masked attackers and hit with an iron bar after a team evening in a fancy restaurant near the stadium. The legs of the footballer were targeted. Diallo, who is said to have been behind the wheel, was only threatened. After a few minutes, the perpetrators fled and left the injured Hamraoui on the curb, she had to be hospitalized and since then has missed several games.
According to insiders, they are friends
It is unclear who the attackers were. And anyway – a lot of things are absolutely unclear. Several PSG players (including Hamraouni) are said to have received anonymous threatening phone calls before the attack. The police were able to narrow down the calls to the region around the prison in Lyon. A man is imprisoned there who has committed extortion charges. And: According to the French media, he should be friends with Diallo! However, as mentioned, this denies any connection with the iron bar attack.
And it’s weird too. Clear. In theory, Diallo and 31-year-old Hamraouni are competing for a place in the French national team – as well as for one in the PSG starting line-up. But they were already standing together in the field. And what’s more: when both were not taken to the 2019 World Cup, they went on vacation to Mexico instead. Together! PSG insiders also tell the French press that they are real friends. Both have the same agent.
