As the season has only just begun, the first rankings regarding individual rewards are already in the wild. This is especially the case of the MVP, who will once again be very much sought after for this season. Who is the favorite? Nikola Jokic will want to keep his crown, while Giannis Antetokounmpo should be well placed by the end of the regular season.
A recent ranking just came out on the Basketball Reference site, which uses a bunch of statistics to determine the favorite. A few days ago, Rudy Gobert was the big favorite, although it is too early to judge. But with the latest results, he has already lost his place.

Jimmy Butler is the new leader, and it’s not much of a surprise. He’s 25.3 points, 7 rebounds and 5.5 average assists, with a 5-1 record for the Heat. Gobert is performing well, as is Montrezl Harrell, who is in the top 5. He has a good performance with the Wizards, although he will have to be able to keep pace with the rest.
