Mavs tremble in San Antonio – Sixers slow down Bulls – Schröder beats Wagner

Series of tremors and restrained euphoria: The most important thing from the packed Wednesday in the NBA.

For once, not the only match winner: Luka Doncic.

The fact that significantly fewer fouls are whistled thanks to the new rules is reflected in the improved flow of the game and less scoring in the NBA. James Harden, for example, who was a foul master to the last, does not benefit from the game that has become a bit rougher again, scored “only” 16 points in the 117: 108 victory of his Brooklyn Nets against Atlanta on Wednesday (local time), but put on eleven baskets.

The veteran DeMar DeRozan shows how to better deal with the new set of rules. For the third time in a row, he scored over 30 points (this time 37) for his new team. That didn’t help his euphoric Chicago Bulls in Philadelphia this time, however, because the Sixers won 103: 98, finished the guests’ run and tied the season’s record (6: 2). Seth Curry was Philly’s best thrower with 22 points.

Dallas and Memphis win narrowly – Boston beats Orlando

Speaking of the best thrower: For once in the Dallas Mavericks, his name was not Luka Doncic. The Slovenian (23 points) was trumped in the tremendous victory of the Mavs in San Antonio (109: 108) by team-mate Jalen Brunson (33). Dallas climbed to third place in the Western Conference thanks to the victory at their Texas neighbors.

The Memphis Grizzlies lurk close behind, and were able to hold their own against Denver for the second time in a row and made it as exciting as the Mavericks at 108: 106. MVP Nikola Jokic excelled with 34 points, on the other hand four out of five starters scored double digits. Yes Morant took the game back with some spectacular layups.

The German duel between Dennis Schröder and Franz as well as Moritz Wagner went to the Braunschweiger. Schröder helped the Celtics come off the bench with eight points, four rebounds and three assists to a 92-79 win against the young team from Orlando. After his most recent gala, Franz Wagner only got nine points this time, Moritz got three in just nine minutes of play.
