LG Stadtwerke München – Julia Riedl new managing director – Sport

The LG Stadtwerke München has a new managing director. Former sprinter Julia Riedl, 29, will succeed Christian Gadenne in December, who left the athletics community at his own request after seven years in this position. Riedl and her twin sister Martina had already switched from SC Vöhringen to LG as an active member in 2012. In 2010 she took part in the U-20 World Championships in Moncton, Canada. She later studied business administration and marketing in Munich and Fort Lauderdale, worked for the Bundesliga basketball team Ratiopharm Ulm and most recently for the European Championships in Munich in 2022. He was happy “that we were able to win them,” said the new LG President Jochen Schweitzer, who emphasized Riedl’s contacts in the athletics scene. Schweitzer promised that the work should be better distributed in the future than before. In addition to himself, the vice-presidents Max Weidmann (office) and Faliero Graiani (competitive sports) are supposed to relieve the management.
