Judo: Lebib distinguished by the IFJ

The International Judo Federation awarded Sid Ali Lebib the 8th Dan belt for his experience as a judoka and his contribution to judo.

The former athlete, president of the Algerian Judo Federation, President of the Algerian Olympic Committee (COA) and Minister of Youth and Sports, declared himself “honored by this distinction from an institution such as the International Judo Federation. which I qualify as recognition for all that Algeria and Algerian judo have done for world sport and discipline ”. This distinction from the International Judo Federation is exceptional. This is the second time in the space of a year that the IFJ has distinguished two Algerians, Hifri and Lebib. Russian President Vladimir Putin, a former judoka, received the same honor two years ago.
