Kessié rejects AC Milan mega offer: Ivorian wants to earn 9 million

AC Milan-midfielder Franck Kessié only wants to extend his contract if the number two in Italy will pay him a hefty salary. The Ivorian and his management are reportedly asking for an amount of nine million euros per year.

Kessié is an important link in Milan’s midfield. I Rossoneri do not want to lose the 48-time international, who has an expiring contract. transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio know that Milan is prepared to go far: the club has already offered Kessié a salary of 6.5 million euros per year, plus bonuses.

Yet that is not exactly close to the wages that the 24-year-old inspector wants to earn. The Kessié camp is betting on a salary of around nine million. If those requirements are not adjusted, the chance of an agreement seems small.

In less than two months, Kessié can already negotiate with other clubs about a transfer-free switch. So the time is running out for AC Milan, which the 24-year-old African picked up for 24 million euros from Atalanta Bergamo.
