Jorge Martin (Ducati) achieved pole position in the last qualifying session of this year in MotoGP at the Grand Prix of the Valencian Community. The Madrid rider was the fastest on the Ricardo Tormo circuit with a time of 1: 29.936 and today he will start from the first position accompanied by two more Ducati, Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller. And it is that the Italian team managed to place four drivers in the top five because Johann Zarco was fifth. The only one who broke with his hegemony was Joan Mir (Suzuki) who achieved the fourth best time. For his part, the rosinc Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) could not overcome Q1 and today will start from the fourteenth position on the grid.

In the second attempt of the pilots there were all colors. Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), who will race his last MotoGP Grand Prix today, came out behind Bagnaia to catch him off guard. The Ducati, in his attempt at a quick lap took the lead (1: 30.118), with two tenths of a margin over Jack Miller. Rossi set the seventh fastest time, then surpassed by Nakagami and Zarco. But in the second attempt, Bagnaia fell on the second corner and his bike was left in the middle of the track, which did not harm his teammate, the Australian Jack Miller, who also fell in the eleventh revolt. This meant that Jorge Martín, who came with fast-lap partials, ended up winning pole position, his fourth this year after the additions in Doha, Austria and Styria.

Moto2: The World Cup at stake

With the MotoGP and Moto3 championships already doomed in favor of Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) and Pedro Acosta (KTM), respectively, all the excitement will be focused on seeing who manages to lift the Moto2 title. Remy Gardner (Kalex) starts as the big favorite to be champion, as he has a 23 point advantage over Raúl Fernández (Kalex). Therefore, anything other than a victory in Chest of the Madrid, who comes out fifth, would make the Australian, eighth on the starting grid, be proclaimed champion without depending on his result. Anyway, Gardner is worth it to be twelfth no matter what Fernandez does. In the average displacement, Albert Arenas (Boscoscuro) from Girona, who fractured a toe at the Algarve Grand Prix, will start from 25th position.
