Italian Championships Es.B in Ostia: Judo Bra Center with applause – www.ideawebtv.it

The Es.B 2021 Italian Championships (class 2007-2008) were held in Ostia (Rm), an official competition recognized by CONI which assigns the titles of “National Champions” in the various weight categories, in which all the athletes took part. strongest in the nation.

After the regional qualifications held in Turin, the association of Maestro Antonio Carnebianca presented itself to the national competition with three qualified athletes in three weight categories. Excellent was the performance of Cavaglià Marika, who qualified in 3rd place in her category -57Kg, obtaining a historic result being the youngest judo athlete from Bra to get on the podium of an Italian championship. In fact, no braidese judoka has ever managed to get a better result at just 13 years old, class of 2008, comparing herself with older athletes. The girl, former national vice-champion in July, in Sunday’s match won 4 out of 5 matches, losing in the semifinals due to a serious and obvious referee error that precluded her access to the final, forcing her to play and win the match for the third position. However, it remains an excellent result for Marika who, at the age of 3, began practicing judo in Bra, distinguishing herself from the first pre-competitive competitions at the regional level. She immediately highlighted a grit and a technical quality superior to the others, which led her to this first important milestone, among the top of Italian judo in its category.

Also good performance of Vitale Simone, who winning 2 out of 4 matches, remains classified in 9th place in the -60kg category. A competitive athlete, who had to give way against the winner and then against the athlete who qualified in third place, with a match of questionable referees evaluation. A little less well went for Macis Jennifer who, despite her good judo qualities shown at the previous National competition in July, stopped at the first meeting losing against the athlete who, at the end of the competition, qualified in third position. Despite the final classification, both Simone and Jennifer are two young and talented athletes who will surely manage to achieve great results in these national competitions over time.

These achievements give luster to the work done by Maestro Antonio Carnebianca who has carried out in Bra since 1971, concluding this competitive year with the celebrations for the 50 years of teaching activity of the Braidese Municipality. In this period, the Braidese sports association competed at a regional and national level with children of all ages, highlighting the excellent teaching done over time by Maestro Carnebianca and his collaborators, who train and educate children and young people every day. from 3 years of age, at the headquarters in via Gabotto. A further recognition must be made to these guys who managed to bring home these results not being able to train at their best due to the limitations of sports facilities.
