In recent years, in order to speed up the cultivation of reserve talents for competitive sports, Haining City has actively explored ways of integrating sports and education to realize the complementarity of resources between sports and education. In November 2019, the “Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Integration of Sports and Education to Promote the All-round Development of Students” was issued, which further promoted the comprehensive deepening and upgrading of the integration of sports and education.

The first is based on the characteristics, and constantly strengthen the construction of the integration of sports and education. In recent years, Haining City has actively carried out further exploration and research based on the construction of the physical education subject base of primary and secondary schools and the establishment of school characteristics, with the goal of “combination of sports and education, and integration of learning and training”. It has successively established 19 national campus football characteristic schools, 22 provincial campus football characteristic schools, 4 national youth campus basketball characteristic schools, 1 national youth campus ice and snow characteristic school, 3 Zhejiang sunshine reserve talent base, high level in Jiaxing City There are 2 training bases for sports reserve talents in the school, and 12 schools with the integration of sports and education in Jiaxing City.

The second is the joint construction of sports schools to build a variety of network training models. It has successively cooperated with Ziwei Primary School, Advanced Education Primary School, Hongda School, Xingzhi Primary School, Xingzhi Junior High School to set up youth training bases and explore sports and education integration projects. Up to now, the city’s combined sports and education programs include 5 badminton events, fencing events, and taekwondo events. Has gradually formed a city-wide, diversified, grid-based, with the city’s youth sports school as the leader, the combination of sports and education as the basis, the amateur training school as the basis, the sports teams of all levels of primary and secondary schools as supplements, and the participation of sports social groups. The network training model and the new pattern of sports reserve talent training have effectively expanded the points and areas of amateur training. In 2020, the joint construction project of Wang Guowei Primary School in Haining City and Haining Junior Sports School was officially launched, providing new experience for the development and construction of new sports schools in the new era.

The third is the cultivation of talents, and fruitful results have been achieved in the integration of sports and education. It has been ten years since the development of Haining’s sports and education integration project. It has made outstanding achievements in sports seedlings and excellent education, and has trained many world champions, Asian champions and national champions. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, he won 5 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals in international competitions, 42 national gold medals and 279 provincial gold medals. For example, Haining athlete Du Jiani won the championship in the women’s double snowmobile competition in the 14th National Winter Games, achieving a breakthrough in the national winter games Jiaxing gold medal zero. A total of 107 young athletes were sent upwards, including 2 active national team athletes and 25 provincial team athletes. In 2021, a total of 13 Haining Junior Sports School athletes will enter Beijing Sport University, Chengdu Sport University, Zhejiang Normal University and other undergraduate colleges through a single exam.
