Giants extend Gabe Kapler’s contract until 2024

The San Francisco Giants want to give their project some stability in the Big leagues and that starts with keeping the manager Gabe Kapler within the institution until 2024.



Gabe Kapler is 136-86 in two years with the Giants and last year he ranked first in the NL West.

The team announced that it extended Kapler’s contract until 2024 after finishing first in the NL West division and breaking the Los Angeles Dodgers’ eight-title streak.. Unfortunately they were defeated in the NLDS by the Dodgers in five games.

Kapler has led 222 games as the Giants manager since joining in 2019., with a three-year contract after his stint in the Philadelphia Phillies dugout, and owns a 138-86 record with the team.

There’s nowhere else I’d rather be and I’m excited to continue preparing for the entire organization, ”Kapler stated to NBC’s Alex Pavlovic.

Importance of Kepler in the Bay

Farhan More, President of Giants Operations knows how important Kapler has been to the organization in the Bay from San Francisco in the last two years.

Gabe has done an excellent job in his managerial role the last two seasons.. He has been an important part of our office and the Giants are proud of his active role with the community, ”stated Zaidi.
