Next corona case in football. Ex-national player Diego Demme has now been hit. He is in quarantine.
Former German national player Diego Demme from the Italian first division club SSC Naples has been infected with the coronavirus. As his association announced, the 29-year-old tested positive for the Sars-CoV-2 virus during a routine check. According to the club, Demme is vaccinated against Covid-19.
The former Bundesliga player from RB Leipzig have no symptoms and am in domestic isolation. Demme moved to his dream club in Naples in 2019 after five years in Leipzig. Under the national coach at the time Joachim Löw the midfielder played an international match in 2017.
