Dvořák was 13th in Innsbruck with a four-point, Friedrich had no competition – Czech Television – Czech Television

As on Saturday, Dvořák had to deal with an injured calf. But while he was visibly dissatisfied after the double bobsleigh race and 17th place, he celebrated today’s thirteenth place after reaching the finish line.

“We evaluate the race much more positively than yesterday’s and I think even more than the previous weekend. We are moving on,” Dvořák praised.

With the crew of Jakub Šindelář, Jáchym Procházka and Jakub Nosek, they were 88 hundredths behind Friedrich in the thirteenth place. For Dvořák, this was the second best result in the current year, he was 14th and 17th in the double drums and twelfth two weeks ago.

“The race was intense, chopped off in the hundreds and we are happy about it because we are improving. We will continue to fight to enter the Top 10 in the ranking before the Olympics, that is our goal,” he said.

His injured calf was re-taped and lubricated. “Next week I will have to do something about it and I hope it will be fine soon,” Dvořák added.

Friedrich won by 28 hundredths ahead of the Latvian Oskars Kibermanis, the third was Justin Kripps from Canada. The world champion, Olympic winner and reigning World Cup champion also won the fourth race of the Olympic season.
