Dakar International Judo-Open (5th edition): Senegal above the rest

XALIMANEWS-The 5th edition of the Dakar Open international tournament has lived, Senegal, at home, remained sovereign by winning 16 medals in total, including 4 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze.

Senegal continues to show its supremacy in the international Dakar Open tournament. Like the previous edition, that of 202, saw the Lions of Judo confirm their domination over the other participating countries, which numbered 17, including South Africa and the Republic of Ireland, two big bones of Judo African and global.

The Senegalese medalists are distributed as follows:

Or : Moussa Diop (-60 kg), Saliou Ndiaye (-81 kg), Adberahmane Diao (-91 kg) and Mbagnick Ndiaye (+100 kg)

Money : Oumy Seck (-57 kg), Oumar Mballo (-60 kg), Mame Ndiaye (-73 kg), Khadidja Sonko (-70 kg), Modou Fall (-100 kg)

Bronze : Diodio Sonko (-60kg), Ndeye Marie Ndao and Kadessa Tounkara (-63kg), Ibrahima Thior (-66kg), Djibouti Ba (-100kg), Malick Diop and Libasse Ndiaye (+100kg)

In the general ranking by medals, Senegal is ahead (16 medals, 4 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze), followed by Côte d’Ivoire (6 medals, 3 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze) and Morocco which closes the podium (6 medals, 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze).
