D2 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS U23: NO MEDAL FOR BLUEBERRIES | French Judo Federation

Day without a medal today for the French U23 judo team. Eniel CAROLY (-90kg) and Kenny LIVEZE (-100kg) did not yet go far from bronze but both lost their fight for the place of 3. The first started his day well by winning his first two confrontations on ippon against the Ukrainian Vadim VELKOV then the German Johann LENZ. A duller day for the women’s team. Lucie JARROT (-70kg), Gabrielle BARBAUD (-70kg), Habi MAGASSA (-78kg), Tahine DURAND (+ 78kg) and Laura FUSEAU (+ 78kg) bowed as soon as they entered the running. In the draft, reigning champion Laura was forced to forfeit.
