As you probably know, at the end of this season the Arizona Coyotes will find themselves homeless.
The City of Glendale has decided not to sign a new lease with the organization and therefore, they will have to leave the arena in June.
Where are they going to play next season?
That’s the $ 1,000,000 question.
They are currently trying to find a solution and may be considering building a new amphitheater in Tempe, but it is far from done and even if it does materialize, there will be a delay with the construction.
TSN’s Chris Johnston mentions that the Coyotes may be considering a temporary location:
“It could take several years to complete the construction of a new amphitheater, so they have to be creative. And among the solutions they are considering is the option of temporarily relocating to Chase Field, home of the Diamondbacks in the United States. ‘Arizona. They think they can keep the ice at an acceptable temperature with the help of a dome … “
Imagine the incredible scenario … A hockey team, playing in the desert, in a baseball stadium. The Arizona Coyotes might really have to look to their baseball team for shelter.
It might be really interesting to watch.
