His parents, domiciled in Deux-Sèvres, are the first to sound the alarm after trying, in vain, to reach their son. They called in the gendarmes who, for their part, came into contact with the Suresnes police station. According to information from Parisian, Antoine Seguin’s home was discovered empty, while his vehicle is still there, parked as usual.
The Parisian judicial police, in charge of the investigation, is now seeking to retrace the course of the Suresnois before his disappearance. According to certain testimonies, Antoine Seguin would have notably proposed to some friends to participate with him in a private party in Paris, on Friday, October 29. But, for now, investigators are unable to confirm that he actually went there.
On the other hand, he would have connected to WhatsApp in the middle of the night, without however responding to the messages that had been sent to him. Most of his relatives say they have not had any contact with him since then, however, some friends claim to have met him “last week”, according to a source close to the investigation. Testimonies that the police are now trying to verify.
According to those around him, Antoine Seguin is “someone stable, surrounded and appreciated”. A priori all is well for him: he is employed as an executive of the Postal Bank, has lived in the Paris region for about ten years and flourishes thanks to judo, in particular through the Suresnes club of which he has just taken the presidency. . In 2015, he was even a candidate in the departmental elections for the Socialist Party, in the canton of Suresnes and Nanterre. The elements of a quiet and busy life, therefore, but which, at first glance, offers no answer.
