It was 12:15 am last night when firefighters were alerted to an explosion that took place, route du Calvaire in Corte, in a R + 1 building of 150 m2 under construction. A reconnaissance was carried out before the establishment by the Gendarmerie of a security perimeter when the demining services were called upon.
On site, in addition to the firefighters with a group leader and an FPTL, the gendarmes were also present as well as the municipal authorities.
The apartment in the 150m2 building was completely destroyed, most likely by an explosive charge, which would give credence to the criminal origin.
Four neighboring houses with ten people were evacuated as a safety measure.
The prosecution was notified and an investigation was opened.
