Another day with medals for the Argentine delegation at the Cali Valle 2021 Junior Pan American Games and the golden of the day came through Selene Alborzen.
Alborzen he stayed with the end of the 400 medley female with a time of 04: 52.22 (Magdalena portela finished in fifth position) and he added his second medal at the Junior Pan American Games after bronze in the 200 breaststroke.
Argentine swimming added a second medal at the end of the day and was silver in the 4×200 relays after finishing with a record of 08: 25.44, behind Brazil and Colombia. The national team consisted of Lucía Gauna, Delfina Dini, Candela Giordanino and Mainque Mujica.
Cycling, squash and badminton: more medals for Argentina at the Cali Valle 2021 Junior Pan American Games
The cycling Argentine added a couple more medals in the competition and they came from the hand of Natalia Vera and Lucas Vilar.
Vera was left with the bronze medal in the competition of speed, while Vilar obtained the silver in that of Keirin.
What’s more, Miguel Pujol and Jeremías Azaña managed to climb to the last step of the podium in the men’s doubles squash and there was also bronze for him mixed badminton thanks to Iona Gualdi and Nicolás Olivo.
In addition, the Argentine delegation secured a medal in boxing because Joel Salva advanced to the final of the category 75 kilos.
The men’s hanball started with a triumph from Cali Valle 2021
The chosen men’s handball player made his debut at the Cali 2021 Junior Pan American Games with a 30-19 victory over Colombia, in a match corresponding to Group B, which is also made up of Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
Argentina will return to the Iván Vassilev Todorov Coliseum this Tuesday against the Dominican Republic in search of a victory that guarantees them their place in the semifinals.
