For months, Xavi (41) has been mentioned as a possible successor when it comes to a break. The club icon is still working in Qatar as coach of Al-Sadd, his contract runs for another two years. “Every offer will be evaluated and then a decision will be made,” he told Spain’s public broadcaster. “I don’t know where my future will take me, but I’m open to anything.”

Xavi played football for Barcelona from 1998 to 2015, after which he ended his active career with Al-Sadd.
