WTA Indian Wells: Angelique Kerber missed the semi-finals – catching up against Badosa comes too late

After losing the first set and falling 2: 5 behind in the second round, Kerber won three games in a row, but ultimately had to admit defeat.

Number 21 seeded Badosa will face Ons Jabeur from Tunisia in the semifinals. The African got the upper hand against Anett Kontaveit from Estonia with 7: 5 and 6: 3.

This means that Jabeur will be among the top ten in the world rankings for the first time in the coming week.

In the second semifinals, Victoria Asarenka from Belarus and Latvian Jelena Ostapenko face each other.
