Winther wins the Mallorca Open

After 129 appearances, he finally won the holy grail. In Mallorca, Jeff Winther signed a final card of 70 (0), enough to overtake Pep Angles (67), Jorge Campillo (69) and Sebastian Soderberg (68) by a small point. After a card of 62 (-8) yesterday, the Dane signs, on a very damaged course, a card in the par, marked only with a birdie at 10, and a bogey at 18.

This victory catapults Winther to 37th place in the ranking, ensuring him to compete in the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai from November 18 to 21. Still, Soderberg was on course to worry Winther. After 12 holes, the Swede was at -16 overall, tied with Winther, before losing a shot at 13 and 15.

The French are missing the boat

While they were four yesterday at -6 (14th) to be able to hope for a top -10, the Blues do not improve their mark and remain at best at -6. Victor Dubuisson and Matthieu Pavon are those who stay at this mark but go down to 20th place. JB Gonnet and Robin Roussel both play a shot over par (71) and finish 26th at -5. Romain Langasque signs a 67 (-3) and takes the 34th place. Follow Damien Perrier (40th, -3), Clément Sordet (45th, -2), Adrien Saddier and Joël Stalter (54th, 0).
