the best MLB team that will not be in the playoffs

We have to admit it, removing tiles It has left us a bitter taste after a very good and somewhat unexpected season and the desire we had to see some of their players in the MLB playoffs.

The best who will not be …

Of all the teams that have been left out, the Blue Jays are the team with the best record 91-71 (.562) and two interesting details to highlight from these numbers:

  • In the past 16 years, only one team had failed to qualify with a similar or better record: the 2019 Cleveland Indians with a 93-69 record.
  • It is a better record than their 2016 mark (89-73) year in which they got into the wild card and almost as good as that of 2015 when they led their division (93-69).

And we don’t know what you think, but we have the same impression as MVP candidate Marcus Siemen and new owner of the record for the most HR in a season for a 2B that tiles they’ve had one of the best closings in MLB… but they “warmed up” a bit late.

The saddest thing of all is that missing out on the Blue Jays deprives us of one of the best pitchers in MLB (Robbie Ray) and Springer and Bo Bichette and one of the best hitters in all of MLB: Vladi JR.

  • .311 AVG (3ro)
  • .401 OBP (1er)
  • .601 SLG (1 series)
  • 1.002 OPS (1er)
  • 123 Races (1st)
  • 188 Hits (2do)
  • 363 Total bases (1st)
  • 48 Jorones (Empatado-1er)
  • 111 Rushed (Tied-5th)

Wouldn’t you like to see that in the playoffs?

No way, it will be for next year.
