Sky-Moderator Peter Hardenacke has certainly seen a lot. But he won’t forget this interview with basketball star Shaquille O’Neal anytime soon.
Sky presenter Hardenacke is afraid
While all F1 fans were watching the race in Austin (Texas) in front of the TV, basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal got an idea of what was happening on site and attracted everyone’s attention.

Which is not surprising either – after all, the American measures a proud 2.16 meters and is therefore unmistakable. Before the race, Sky reporter Peter Hardenacke takes the giant to his chest in an interview.
When the interview is over, Hardenecker turns away from the four-time NBA champion and says: “My God, he looks angry!” At the same moment, the ex-NBA star pulls the presenter back with just two fingers, because he has to tell him something else. Visibly frightened, he turns back to the giant.

While O’Neal reveals the name of his fastest car to him, the reporter who feels ten heads shorter is struggling to get up to speed with the Angel microphone. The scene caused a lot of laughs on the net.

But that’s not all. Even after the race, all eyes are on O’Neal. The 49-year-old rolls up to the award ceremony in an XXL car. In the old-timer convertible he was enthroned in the back seat and leaned back calmly with the trophy in his giant paws.
