Fsuccessfully concluded, the sixteenth test of the III Circuito Nacional RPT – MARCA Junior Cup U18 by Wilson – Tennis Point, at Carlet Tennis Club Valencia, with about a hundred players from different regions of Spain. This test was supported by the Carlet Town Hall, from Tennis Federation of the Valencian Community and of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation.
In the male category the champion has been the Alicante Iker Sevilla, seeded number 1, who beat Navarro in the final, Iker Gaztambide . fourth seeded, by 6-3 and 7-6. In the women’s final, Murciana Maria Walls, seeded number 4, won the Valencian Enma Moratalla, third seeded, 6-0 and 6-0.
During the week the Professional Tennis Registry organized training courses for tennis instructors and coaches, which were taught by Luis Mediero.
The awards ceremony was led by the Mayor of the Carlet City Council, Lola Navarro, Bernard Monzo (President of the Caja Carlet Foundation), Victor Zaragoz (Vice President of CT. Carlet) Adrian Lliso (President CT Carlet and Director of the Valencian Community Tennis Federation), Jos Luis Sanz (Sports Director CT Carlet) and Luis Mediero (Founder of the Professional Tennis Registry) and Director of the Circuit).
The Professional Tennis Registry, the oldest and largest promoter of youth tennis in Spain, organizes the Circuito Nacional RPT – MARCA by Wilson – Tennis Point, to count during the year 2021 with 45 tests, with the support of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation, and the collaboration of sponsors such as HdI, NH hotels, NutriSport & IBP Uniuso. This year’s calendar will close with the participation of some 4,000 young tennis players.
