Receiver Josh Gordon is said to be close to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Adam Schefter de ESPN received the information from the recipient’s agents. The 30-year-old Gordon took the steps to secure a return to the NFL after being suspended for violating the League’s anti-doping policy yet again.
The last time he played a game was in 2019 with the Seattle Seahawks. He had amassed 426 yards and a touchdown in 11 games this season.
The Kansas City Chiefs have just suffered a second straight loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
