NBA: Cleveland retains Senegalese giant Tacko Fall

The Senegalese pivot has passed his test. Tacko Fall has indeed transformed his summer contract in Cleveland into a “two way contract”. Which means that the Cavaliers therefore keep it to use it also in G-League, the antechamber of the NBA.

The interior will be able to play up to 50 regular season games. Tacko Fall made three preseason games with Cleveland. During the last outing, the coach gave him 23 minutes of playing time and he took the opportunity to register 8 points, take 5 rebounds and make 2 steals.

Not drafted in 2019, the 25-year-old was able to enter the NBA thanks to Boston. The Celtics had offered him two years in a row a “two way contract”. But he never played much. He will certainly try to scavenge more time in Ohio even though the Cavaliers’ racket is already very well stocked with Kevin Love, Lauri Markkanen, arrived from Chicago, Evan Mobley and Jarret Allen.
