In his second career game in the NBA, rookie Scottie Barnes stood out, finishing at the top of the scorers, both on the visitors’ side and on the crowd favorites, with 25 points. Barnes converted 11 of his 17 field goal shots and all of his two free throws. He added 13 rebounds and two assists.

Gary Trent Jr. was also productive, with 20 points in the win. Six Raptors players scored at least 10 points, including Quebecer Chris Boucher (11), who added seven rebounds to his record in 19:39 of playing time.

The only Canadian team in the NBA will not be able to celebrate this first victory for very long, since it will be back in Toronto to face the Dallas Mavericks there on Saturday.
