At the football match between KRC Genk and 1.FC Cologne, there was a confrontation between the supporter groups in the context of the Youth League. An unexpectedly large delegation from Cologne had descended on Genk.
It was about a hundred members of the hard core. During the break, part of the group moved across the field to the supporters’ section of the home team, where a confrontation ensued.
The group was dispersed by a quick intervention by police and stewards. The Cologne supporters then quickly left for home. The match was resumed after a limited delay. By the way, KRC Genk won the match 3-1.
