The President of the Region Loïg Chesnais-Girard and Pierre Pouliquen, Vice-President for Sports, received Tuesday evening, at the Hotel de Region, several of the Breton athletes who took part in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, in the heart of the ‘last summer. “Sixteen medals – eight and eight – is more than Belgium, more than Spain, it’s huge for our Region”, smiled the elected Bretillian. Among the medalists, the “silver” Jade Ulutule (rugby) and Faustine Noël (badminton) and again the “tanned” Camille Lecointre (veil) and Thu Kamkansomphou (table tennis) were present in Rennes.
