Kansas City Chiefs rallied and defeated Washington 31-13

This morning the Kansas City Chiefs met at FedEx Stadium in Washington, where Patrick Mahomes y Heinicke they staged a passing duel that ended with the visitors’ advantage of 18 points.

During the first quarter Darrel Williams entered the end zone, obtaining the first touchdown for Kansas, while the home offense did not conclude passes or carries so Hopkins closed the period with only 3 points.

By the end of the first half, Heinicke’s offense managed to come back and add 10 points, gaining a 6-point lead.

However, at the beginning of the second half, the Kansas defense blocked access to passes for Washington, so they finished their score at 0; for their part, the Chiefs achieved a reception by Hill that added 7 points along with the field goal.

In the fourth quarter Williams returned to the end zone alongside Robinson, who scored 14 more points for the team.

Washington failed to complete passes and, after interceptions made to his QB, they finished 18 points behind.
