Jonny Clayton humiliates Gerwyn Price and wins World Grand Prix | Darts

Clayton shot out of the starting blocks and soon faced a 2-0 lead. With a score of 3-1 it seemed to be exciting for a while, but Clayton didn’t let his opponent get any further and with a nice 116 finish he ended the match.

Price was 5-2 too strong for Dirk van Duijvenbode in the final last year. The two previous editions were won by Michael van Gerwen. This year, five-time winner Van Gerwen lost to Danny Noppert, who had to acknowledge his superiority in Clayton in the semi-finals on Friday.

At the World Grand Prix, the darts players have to start with a double.
