OtoRace.id – Ahead of the 2021 WorldSBK Indonesia event, the construction of the Mandalika circuit is claimed to be the fastest in the world.

This was conveyed by Happy Harinto as the Director of Strategy and Communication of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA).

To work on the circuit track, workers need approximately 13 months from June 15, 2020 to August 15, 2021.

The Mandalika international circuit in Lombok, NTB, has a length of 4.31 kilometers.

“You could say, the process of working on the circuit which has a length of 4.31 kilometers is quite fast,” said Happy Harinto, quoted from TribunLombok.com.

According to him, the acceleration of the construction of the circuit which has 17 bends is to increase the tourism sector.

Because, after the work has been completed in its entirety, the Mandalika circuit will be used for the 2021 WorldSBK Indonesia event.

Of course this can be a special attraction, especially WorldSBK Indonesia 2021 is the ultimate series.
