Triumphs and challenges for Ttb Lissone athletes at Candia Triathlon in Turin

Trip to the Turin area for a small group of athletes of the Ttb Lissone engaged in Candia Triathlona now fixed appointment at the beginning of the season to test the condition in view of the key phase of the competitive calendar.

Two races are scheduled: Olympic triathlon (1.5km swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running) and the medium triathlon (1.9-90-21) both characterized by the “no draft” formula, i.e. trailing prohibited during the cycling portion.

Two great protagonists standard bearers of the team chaired by Maurizio Mariani on the Olympic distance, which involved the competitors on demanding courses. Feminine Alice Nava confirms the good things seen above all in the last season, in particular in races on the ironmen circuit and closes his performance on second step of the podium with a time of 2h 25’56” but al primo in the S3 category, just over two minutes behind the winner Giada Allasia (Team Fisiosport). Very good in the men’s field Riccardo Dossi which fits into the ninth position of the general classification with a time of 2h 03’53” and al second in the S3 category in the test won by Tommaso Paoletti (Fisiosport). Second place also for Andrea Pedoto (time 2h 13’44”) in the M2 category and for Stefano Riva in the M1 category (time 2h 14’30”).

The placings achieved by the team are equally significant three athletes from Lissone in the medium no draft triathlon: Luca Trezzi he finished the race with the tenth place in category M2; Marco Cocco (Cat.S4) e Samuele Seveso (M) both with the eleventh in their respective categories.

Instead Federico Murero (born 2001) began the season competing in Caorle in the Europe Triathlon Cup and in the race open to elite category athletes he finished at 50th place with the time 54’17” printed on the three classic routes (swimming 750 m), bike (20 km), running (5 km). The race was won in 51’24” by Alessio Cancian.
