French Championship, two representatives from South Finistère in Women’s Singles – quimper – badminton

The French Badminton Championships are traditionally held in February, but the 2021 competition has been postponed from November 3-6. And it is in Besançon that Célia Frassin and Loriane Drean have a meeting, for their second participation at this level of competition. The two players, now licensed at Rostrenen, will be present in the qualifying table from Wednesday 3 November. The case will be ‘Breton’ for Célia Frassin, who will meet a player from Carquefou for her first steps in the championship, then potentially in the second round, a Rennes woman often rubbed shoulders in regional tournaments.

Loriane Drean will face an opponent from Toulouse that she has never met in competition before, then potentially in the second round of these qualifications, a resident of the France junior pole. This competition arrives early in the season and it is still difficult to gauge the levels of each other – the training conditions having been very variable according to the regions and the profiles of the players (listed or not, followed or not, .. .). Our two Finistériennes approach this moment as a good way to relaunch the tournament season, to find their way around the national levels, and to gain practice time with new adversity.
