Braunschweig. Basketball professional David Krämer from the Löwen Braunschweig has not yet given up his NBA dream.

The newcomer from FC Bayern Munich was in North America in the summer of 2019 and, after good performances in the so-called Summer League, won a contract with the Phoenix Suns. However, he has not yet played in the best league in the world. “I knew that I wasn’t going to be an NBA professional straight away, but now you know me and I know them, that’s the positive – the NBA is my goal every day and will remain so,” said Krämer of the “Braunschweiger Zeitung”.

Due to injuries, the 24-year-old missed possible missions in North America and moved to the Bundesliga for FC Bayern in February 2021. In Munich, however, he did not get a lot of working time and went to Braunschweig before the new season. At Lower Saxony he wants to play his way back into the NBA focus and has so far scored an average of 17.5 points. “I was looking for a situation in which I can play a lot and finally implement what I have been training for two years,” said Krämer.
