The experiment to play the European Football Championship in different countries is already shelved after one edition. Germany will host the European Championship in 2024, after 1988 for the second time in its history.
From March 2023, it will be determined which 24 countries may participate in that European Championship. 55 countries are eligible and the colors of their flags are more or less reflected in the logo for Euro 2024.
If we start at the bottom, then from left to right we see the flag of Germany, then Italy (but with some good will also Hungary), which changes into the Russian flag, which then turns into the Dutch flag. At the top left we clearly recognize the Belgian flag.
The oval arrangement of the flags is no coincidence either, because you can recognize the top view of the Olympiastadion in Berlin, where the final will take place. In the center we see the Coupe Henri Delaunay, the cup that it is all about.
