Dedryck Boyata sees red, Hertha Berlin bow to Hoffenheim

Holder and captain of Hertha Berlin, Dedryck Boyata was beaten in Hoffenheim (2-0) on Friday night in the first meeting of the 10th day of the Bundesliga, the German football championship. The defender of the Red Devils was sent off in the 76th minute when the score was already acquired.

Hoffenheim were already leading 2-0 at the break after goals fromAndrej Kramaric (19th) and Sebastian rudy (36th). The Berliners then made two changes after returning from the locker room, without however managing to find an opening in the opposing defense.

Dedryck Boyata was expelled a quarter of an hour from the term. Guilty of a tackle on Angelo Stiller, who had to leave the field, the Belgian defender was first given a yellow card. After intervention of the VAR, the referee waved him the red (76th).

In the standings, Hoffenheim goes to 7th place (14 pts) while Hertha remains in 11th position (12 pts).
