Conade will reward outstanding athletes at the Tokyo Olympics

Ana Gabriela Guevara Espinoza, General Director of the National Sports Commission (Conade), reported that, derived from the Lottery draw on September 15, 364 athletes and coaches will receive an economic stimulus for their outstanding participation in Tokyo 2020.

From the Treasury Hall of the National Palace, the federal official commented that each one will receive 240 thousand pesos, and in total 110 million pesos will be allocated for this purpose.

He indicated that in the case of athletes, the appeal will be delivered regardless of whether they have not obtained any medal in the Olympic fair.

The former sprinter explained that additionally the athletes who won gold will receive 480 thousand pesos, the silver 420 thousand pesos and the bronze 300 thousand pesos.

A delegation of Olympic and Paralympic athletes attended the National Palace to receive this economic stimulus, but Guevara Espinoza indicated that the rest of the participants in Tokyo 2020 this resource will be delivered to them through bank accounts today “one hundred percent”.
