Cinquefrondi, honorary citizenship to the archer Enza Petrilli

Strong emotions in the council chamber of Cinquefrondi on the occasion of the conferral, during a special open council session, of honorary citizenship to the champion Enza Petrilli, silver medal in archery at the Tokyo Paralympics. A choice, that of the municipal administration, thus motivated by the mayor Michele Conia: «It is another stage of a path that distinguishes Cinquefrondi as a Municipality of rights. We do not confer honorary citizenship on Petrilli because she won the medal in Tokyo, but for her special humility, because she is a woman and above all because she has been living in Cinquefrondi for four years as an archery coach for our boys ». In fact, before the meeting of the municipal council, the council led by the mayor Conia resolved to grant free for ten years to the sports club led by Peppe Luciano and in which Enza Petrilli trains a special municipal space to practice archery on a daily basis after having first granted the Palasport, then the multipurpose center and then the school gyms.
