Brooklyn (AP) – Basketball professional Kyrie Irving, who was initially not considered by the Brooklyn Nets because of his unclear vaccination status, receives support from the team’s fans.
At the home start, in which the Nets were defeated by the Charlotte Hornets at 95: 111, some supporters demonstrated with posters in front of the Barclays Center. The protests were directed at the city of New York, where the Nets are based. It requires indoor athletes to provide proof of vaccination.
However, Irving had repeatedly emphasized that his vaccination status was his private matter. Thus, it is not clearly communicated that the build-up player is not vaccinated against the corona virus. The Nets had stated in a statement published before the start of the season that they are planning without the native Australian until he meets the requirements to be a “full participant” again.
