They open an investigation into the retention of ID cards in Las Tablas

The Judicial Secretariat of Las Tablas, province of Los Santos, which corresponds to the Second Jurisdictional District, investigates the retention of personal identity cards after a complaint was filed.

The action caused personnel from the General Electoral Prosecutor’s Office (FGE), accompanied by two police officers, they moved to the township of Las Cruces, Los Santos, where the officials managed to recover two IDs and return them to their owners.

The Electoral Code punishes with a penalty of one to three years in prison, the suspension of political rights and disqualification from public functions, for the same period, to the material or intellectual authors who retain the personal identity card, which is classified as a crime against the freedom of suffrage.
