BAN (Badminton Amersfoort Noord) was present on 30 October with a colorful information stand at the municipal presentation market ‘Amersfoort Aangenaam’ for the new residents of the city.
In the Sint Joriskerk, interested parties wandered past stands of various Amersfoort organizations, foundations and associations. The new city dwellers heard about Amersfoort’s club life at ‘Amersfoort Aangenaam’ and were invited to come and get acquainted with the versatile offer without obligation. It was striking that BAN was the only sports association with an information table at this manifestation.
At the BAN information stand, many new residents showed great interest in the extensive range of the badminton club. They heard about the Open Day on 13 November, took information material with them and made a choice from the playful gadgets. Many said that they had practiced the sport in the past and that they wanted to rejoin a badminton club. Many new fellow citizens saw this presentation market as an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the Amersfoort club life in a casual way.
