ATP – Sofia> Sinner: “Every week I try to learn and understand something new”

Jannik Sinner is a sentimentalist. While he could have flown this week to San Diego in order to prepare as well as possible, and on the spot, the Masters 1000 of Indian Wells which will begin on October 7, the young Italian preferred to return to Sofia, tournament on which he gleaned his first title last year, despite the total closed door.

“I think my year has been good, I played good tennis, but with ups and downs. Every week when I play I try to learn and understand something new. I try to play my best tennis, but obviously it’s not always easy. I’m happy to be here in Sofia again, where I won my very first trophy on the main circuit. The place where you win your first tournament becomes very special. “
