Vergezac. Intense sports day. Tuesday September 21 was a discovery day of various sports activities for the CMs of Saint-Joseph school.
They went to the Guitard gymnasium, in Puy-en-Velay, as part of their participation in Terre de Jeux 2024, a day organized by the CDOS (Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee) in partnership with the UGSEL (General Sports Union of free education). The objective was to discover new sports. In the first part, they practiced basketball and managed to score a few baskets. Then, big gloves or bat in hand, they discovered baseball.
They continued with the rugby activity by making a match respecting the rules of the game and safety. They were able to practice making veneers using a foam backing.
During the afternoon, they played golf and pétanque where they had to aim and shoot at targets.
