Alison Van Uytvanck sees her tournament victory in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan translated into 34 places in the new world ranking. She is now 55th.

The Grimberg tennis star once again surpasses her partner Greet Minnen in the WTA ranking, who loses three positions as number 79. Belgium’s number one Elise Mertens retains eighteenth place. Lower in the rankings are Maryna Zanevska (101st, -1), Kirsten Flipkens (132nd, +3) and Ysaline Bonaventure (142nd, -4).

Kim Clijsters also has a ranking again after her comeback in Chicago, where she lost in the first round. The 38-year-old Limburg is 1,476th with three WTA points. This week she takes part in the top tournament of Indian Wells with a wild card, which she won in 2003 and 2005.

At the very top of the ranking, Australian Ashleigh Barty retains first place ahead of Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka and Czech Karolina Pliskova. Spain’s Garbine Muguruza rises from nine to six after her title in Chicago.
