NHL | Former laureates Makar and Josi can win the Norris Trophy again in the NHL

Twenty-five-year-old Makar won the award for the 2021/22 season. In the previous one, he finished second, last year he was third. In the current season, he collected 90 points for 21 goals and 69 assists in 77 games of the regular season and led the defensemen’s rating with an average of 1.17 points per game.

A year younger, Hughes, who was among the finalists for the first time, dominated Canadian scoring among backs, scoring 92 points (17+75) in 82 games. He was fourth in the league in plus/minus with a +38 rating.

Thirty-three-year-old Josi was the best scorer among defenders this year with 23 goals. He also played all 82 games of the regular season and scored a total of 85 points (23+62). He won the Norris Trophy in the 2019/20 season, last year he was second to the winner Erik Karlsson.
