About 300 competitors participate in 3×3 Basketball Flash Tournament

With the aim of generating spaces that serve for the blank among Chihuahuan talents, and in turn, increase the level of competition and recreation, the Municipal Government of Chihuahua through the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports (IMCFyD) successfully carried out the Flash Basketball Tournament 3×3.

With the participation of 71 teams registered within the five categories convened in the men’s and women’s branch, from schools, clubs and sports units of more than 18 neighborhoods of the city, the tournament was held in the vicinity of the Revolution Park fields .

For his part, the director of the IMCFD, Juan José Abdo, stated that the message of the municipal president Marco Bonilla is clear, promoting sport will be a priority in order to increase the quality of life offered by the practice and coexistence among those who star in the meetings sports, “the Institute will be its main ally to support the integral development of athletes,” Abdo Fierro added.

At the end of the blitz tournament, the winning teams were awarded, being the Spartans teams in the male and female branch champions in the 04-05 category; in the 06-07 category, in the men’s branch, the winners were the Hoops team, while in the women’s branch, the Spartans school team.

The Reencuentro team was the winner in the 08-09 category of the men’s branch, while Black Mamba won in the women’s branch in category A and Spartans in category B; In the children’s category ‘Chihuahua Team’ of the Loma Dorada sports unit, he was titled champion in the men’s branch, also, Spartans B was the winner in the women’s branch.

Likewise, in the initial men’s category, as well as the men’s and women’s free special category, the teams from the Spartans Basketball School of Parque Revolución were the winners, in the same way, the parents of players starred in the free categories of the municipal tournament .
