Kyle Shanahan should be able to count on one of his quarterbacks to face Indianapolis.
Just out of their week off, the 49ers have returned to the field. An important opportunity to see the progress of the two convalescent Californian quarterbacks, Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance.
Garoppolo missed the game against the Seahawks in Week 5 with a calf injury. In the same meeting, while enjoying his first start in the NFL, Lance was hit in the knee.
Coach Kyle Shanahan has announced that Garoppolo is expected to be available for Week 7 against the Colts, according to NBCSports.com. The coach was more evasive about Lance’s participation.
Echoing these statements, Garoppolo was present with his teammates on the pitch during training, while Lance did not take part. For more details, we will have to wait for the publication of the injury reports which will take place next Wednesday.
